SEO Manager

Job Type: Part Time (20 hrs per week to start)
Location: Telecommuting
Salary: Hourly Independent Contractor $12-18/hr depending on experience


Job Description:
VisiSeek is a fast growing online marketing agency located in La Jolla, CA and is looking for a motivated individual to join our SEO team as a Part-Time SEO Manager. In this position you will develop and implement SEO strategies to achieve client goals.

We are looking for a person who is actively pursuing a career in online marketing, who is willing to do extra research on client projects to provide optimization ideas and stay current with the SEO industry.


Major Job Responsibilities:

• -Correspond with industry websites to get links and blog posts
• -Edit onsite copy to match our keyword strategy
• -Write copy to appear on client websites
• -Conduct keyword research
• -Create reports for clients based on Google Analytics and Search Rank data
• -Develop and implement SEO strategy plans
• -Research and implement social media strategies
• -Become an active contributor to the SEO community
  
  Skills / Requirements:
• -Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• -Excellent communication skills over phone and email
• -Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
• -Availability 20hrs / week Mon-Fri by phone, email and IM while working
• -Experience working with content management systems, HTML or any web design a plus
• -Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus
• -Active presence in social networks and the blogsphere
• -Strong analytical skills
• -Drive to actively research SEO and pursue continuing education in the field
• -Enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment to the company and client goals
